Stop Guessing What Video Production Costs

Most video companies hand you a package price and hope you don't ask what's inside. We do the opposite. Every cost element is broken out, explained, and adjustable. You decide the scope. You control the spend. We produce the work.

Why We Publish Our Pricing Logic

In seven years of production work, we noticed the same pattern: clients felt anxious about costs because nobody explained them. The industry relies on vague proposals and bundled quotes that make comparison impossible.

We decided to invert that. When you see exactly what each element costs, you make better decisions. You cut what you don't need. You invest more in what matters. The result is a better video at a price that makes sense to you โ€” not just to us.

"They showed me every line item. I dropped the drone shots and put that budget into better graphics. Best trade-off I ever made." โ€” D. Kearney, Galway

How a Quote Gets Built: The Three-Step Pricing Path

1. Scope Call (Free, 20 min)

We ask about your goals, audience, distribution channels, and timeline. No sales pitch. We're mapping what you actually need so we can price it honestly.

"The scope call alone saved me from over-ordering. They talked me out of a second shoot day I didn't need." โ€” R. Malone, Cork

2. Line-Item Estimate

Within 48 hours, you receive a spreadsheet-style estimate. Every row references the cost matrix above. You can add, remove, or adjust any line before approving.

Average estimate contains 8โ€“14 line items. Most clients adjust 2โ€“3 lines before signing off.

3. Fixed-Price Agreement

Once you approve the estimate, the price is locked. No surprises. If scope changes during production, we discuss and re-quote the affected lines only โ€” never the whole project.

In 2025, only 11% of our projects had any scope adjustment after sign-off.

Capability Map: What We Produce

Not every video company does every type of video. Here's an honest map of what we handle in-house, what we partner on, and what we don't do.

In-House (Full Control)

  • โœ” Corporate brand videos
  • โœ” Product demonstrations
  • โœ” Event coverage & highlights
  • โœ” Training & explainer videos
  • โœ” Social media content (short-form)
  • โœ” Testimonial & case study films
  • โœ” Internal communications

Partner Network

  • โ— Live streaming (partnered tech)
  • โ— 3D animation & CGI
  • โ— Multi-language dubbing
  • โ— Aerial survey / mapping

Not Our Scope

  • โœ˜ Feature-length film production
  • โœ˜ TV broadcast commercials
  • โœ˜ Music video production
  • โœ˜ VR / 360ยฐ immersive
Behind the scenes of a corporate video shoot with professional lighting setup

We've deliberately kept our scope focused. By not chasing every type of video, we've built deep expertise in the categories where businesses actually see ROI. Corporate video, product content, and training material account for 89% of our work โ€” and that concentration is why our repeat client rate sits at 72%.

If your project falls into our partner network zone, we'll coordinate everything. You still get a single point of contact and a unified quote. The only difference is we bring in a specialist for the elements that require it.

Common Pricing Questions โ€” Answered Directly

What if my project doesn't fit neatly into the cost matrix?
Most projects don't fit perfectly, and that's expected. The matrix gives you a framework. Your actual quote may combine partial units or adjust ranges based on complexity. We always explain why a line item differs from the published range.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. We ask for 40% upfront to cover pre-production costs and equipment booking. The remainder is due on delivery of the final cut. For projects over โ‚ฌ5,000, we can arrange three-stage billing.
Can I supply my own footage for editing only?
Absolutely. We handle edit-only projects regularly. You'd skip the shooting day costs entirely and pay only for post-production, graphics, and any audio work. We'll review your footage quality before quoting to ensure we can deliver a professional result.
What's included in "two free revision rounds"?
Each round covers timing adjustments, text changes, music swaps, reordering of scenes, and minor colour tweaks. A round is defined as a single consolidated feedback document. Structural re-edits (changing the narrative arc or reshooting) are quoted separately.
Do you travel outside West Forrest?
Yes. Travel within 60km is included in the shooting day rate. Beyond that, we add a transparent travel fee: โ‚ฌ0.45/km plus accommodation at cost if an overnight stay is needed. We've shot in Dublin, Limerick, Galway, and Belfast in the past 18 months.
